Mackenzie and I got into a conversation about angels and “God” and how we can talk to him about whatever just like he’s an “invisible friend”. I told her that she can tell him about her day, her friends, what she’s scared of, what she wants, etc. So she told me that I can “plug my ears at night so she doesn’t wake me up when she’s talking to God in her bed”. Then we get home (we were driving while having this discussion) and she tells me how she talked to God about her night and how she had gotten scared about something. She also asked me, “Can we invite God to our Halloween party?”ππππ❤️
I love hearing M trying to incorporate new, “bigger” words into her daily vocabulary! Although she does relatively well using new words that she learns, she occasionally doesn’t know how to use them in exactly the right context. For example, the other day she came in my room and told me, “Arya’s not being responsible to me”. Funny, the ways kids think and learn.
