Musings of Mackenzie

So, we were in the Jeep driving home from Trader Joe’s the other day and Arya was tired and hungry and crying/fussy. Mackenzie is a good helper when it comes to fussy little sis. She will “shhhhush” her, talk to her and sing to her to try to get her to calm down. Her favorite go to song to sing to her is “Angels Watching Over Me”.  Many times it actually helps a great deal. This time, she starts talking to and shushing Arya and says, “Youuuuu’re fine. You’re gonna be fiiiine.” After a minute, she declares, “Well that didn’t work!!”😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Lately, Mackenzie (3) has really been expanding her vocabulary and trying to use bigger words. Some words that she has used lately... investigate scavenger destroy magic super power  horrible hilarious interesting boring "grouchess" a.k.a. grumpy

M loves the song "Human" by Christina Perri. For the longest time, I couldn't convince her that the words weren't, "I'm NOT a human..." I think she's finally learned the truth. #dead 💀🎵😆

Mackenzie found a rock that she says is "very powerful". She says, "You can't have it because it has special power...it can destroy bugs!" Me: "Is that the special power?" M: Yeah. It can destroy bugs. And that's why I'm a hero. Because I can save you from the bugs. I will smash them with the rock and then I will wipe it off with like a wipe or something."💪🐜
