Musings of Mackenzie

Overheard as the girls are playing in the bedroom. Mackenzie (4) trying to brush Arya’s (2) hair: “Let me brush your hair! It’s going to be princess-tacular!” A few minutes later as Arya is running off, “wait! Arya! We have to do your eyelashes!! Do you want to be pretty?!” She also used the word “fantacular”. Apparently, she makes up her own combo words!🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Amber and I made a leprechaun trap with the kids today that we’re going to put out and leave glitter and coins and maybe some cookies for them to find for St Patrick’s Day. So Mackenzie is really worried about a leprechaun coming and stealing her bracelets and sparkly pants and my money (we told her that they’re attracted to sparkly things). 😂😂🤣 I died laughing. She was legit so worried and said she didn’t want to put the trap out and asked if we can take it apart. We had to tell her she has to try to trap it in order for him to not take her stuff.
