Musings of Mackenzie

I just witnessed the cutest thing! I tried to get a picture but I wasn’t fast enough. I just went outside and Rowen was up on a chair handing a squirrel that was up on our fence by the patio a chip. He got a little nervous and ran but hung around on the fence and in the yard for a bit. It was so cute though. He was leaning down towards her and she was holding up a chip like literally 4-5 inches from him. She was so close. It was like the squirrel knew she was giving him a treat.  I was just so surprised. I would expect that out of Mackenzie lol but my crazy wild 4 yo Rowen not as much. She does love animals though. 

  Rowen putting away some dishes that were getting jammed - “Oops! I’m a little rusty!”   Me complaining about the smell of the cat box and asking Rowen if she smells it too.  Rowen: “no, I have a dusty nose.” (stuffy) She also told me this morning when she was trying to wake me up at like 6:30, “you’ve been asleep for like 40 hours!” Stormy was meowing loudly and being annoying so I said “Stormy! Quiet your butt!” Rowen, sitting nearby said, “no, it’s her mouth!”  😆 Rowen is singing that kids song about “them bones gonna walk around” and she’s singing “the dick dack connected to the neck bones, the lick lack connected to the head bones”  🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ Mackenzie and Arya make my mind exploding!
