Tonight, driving home from my parents, my conversation with Mackenzie consisted mostly of zombies, angels & heroes. I’m trying to figure out WHERE she picked up on the idea of zombies.š¤¦š»♀️ Anyways. We had quite the conversation. I told her she doesn’t need to be afraid of zombies, they’re not real, she has angels watching over her and surrounding her with a circle of light to keep her safe, etc. I told her that angels are “invisible” so she asked me, “If you make me invisibile, can I see the angels?”š The conversation at some point turned to include “heroes” and she informed me that if she was a “real hero” she could stay up ALL night.š Apparently, she learned that from PJ Masks.š¤·š»♀️ The conversations I have with this girl are the best sometimes. She keeps me laughing and thinking at the same time.
I love hearing M trying to incorporate new, “bigger” words into her daily vocabulary! Although she does relatively well using new words that she learns, she occasionally doesn’t know how to use them in exactly the right context. For example, the other day she came in my room and told me, “Arya’s not being responsible to me”. Funny, the ways kids think and learn.
